Purpoe To report a cae of pontaneou reolution of traumatic macular hole–related retinal detachment. Deign Obervational cae report. Method Clinical examination and optical coherence tomographic (OCT) evaluation of a patient who experienced pontaneou reolution of a retinal detachment reulting from a traumatic macular hole. Reult A 12-year-old boy developed a macular hole and retinal detachment after blunt ocular trauma. pontaneou reattachment of the retina and cloure of the macular hole were documented at clinical examination and by OCT three week after preentation. Concluion pontaneou cloure of traumatic macular hole and reolution of aociated retinal detachment can occur.
