Accommodative pam After Laer-Aited In itu Keratomileui (LAIK)

Purpoe To report a cae of accommodative pam following laer-aited in itu keratomileui (LAIK). Deign Obervational cae report. Method Ophthalmic examination including manifet and cycloplegic refraction to ait in diagnoi. Reult Two month following LAIK urgery, a 41-year-old healthy woman complained of intolerable headache that had interfered with her daily activitie. The patient ought medical conultation, and an MRI of the brain wa normal. Bet-corrected viual acuity (BCVA) wa 20/20 and 20/25 with manifet refraction of −2.25 −0.50 × 170 and plano in the right and the left eye, repectively. Cycloplegic refraction wa plano in the right and +0.75 phere in the left eye, and he wa corrected to 20/20 bilaterally. After being treated with cyclopentolate 1% one drop at bedtime to each eye for approximately ix week, the headache completely reolved. Concluion Accommodative pam hould be conidered in patient undergoing LAIK urgery complicated with fluctuating refraction of uncertain caue.
