Abstract
Purpoe
To invetigate morphologic feature of group 2A idiopathic juxtafoveolar retinal telangiectai (IJRT) with three-dimenional optical coherence tomography (OCT).
Deign
Obervational cae erie.
Method
We performed OCT ophthalmocopy on ix eye of three conecutive patient with group 2A IJRT.
Reult
Thin cytic low-intenity pace within inner and outer retinal layer wa detected with the longitudinal B-can through the fovea in five eye. Partial lo of highly reflective line conidered a the boundary between photoreceptor inner egment and outer egment wa alo detected. The tranvere C-can provided en-face image of the low-intenity pace hown with the B-can, if not entirely. Thee morphologic alteration appeared not to correpond with the taining oberved in the late phae of fluorecein angiography.
Concluion
The OCT ophthalmocope could viualize morphologic alteration indicating degeneration or atrophy of neuroenory retina, including photoreceptor layer. Thee alteration may play a role in the pathogenei of group 2A IJRT.
