Purpoe To decribe a rarely reported complication of trabimu urgery. Deign Obervational cae erie. Method A review of four eye in three patient with orbital cyt following trabimu urgery. Reult Each patient had either a ymptomatic trabimu or viible ma that brought them to medical attention many year, often decade after urgery (mean 34 year). All had ome degree of incomitancy. During urgery, all cyt were found to be aociated with the involved rectu mucle. Concluion Orbital cyt are a rarely recognized complication of trabimu urgery. However, it hould be conidered in the differential of orbital cyt after trabimu urgery becaue of the rik of mucle damage during urgical exciion.
