Abstract :
Purpoe To compare viual performance, total and high order wavefront aberration (coma, pherical aberration, and other term), and contrat enitivity in 120 eye implanted with one monofocal apheric intraocular len (IOL) and two pherical IOL. Deign Randomized propective tudy. Method ixty patient were randomized to receive three IOL type: Alcon AcryofIQ (40 eye), AcryofNatural (40 eye), and advanced medical optic (AMO)enar (40 eye). Complete ophthalmologic examination including uncorrected viual acuity (UCVA), bet-pectacle corrected viual acuity (BCVA), corneal topography, and wavefront analyi were performed preoperatively, 30 day, and 90 day potoperatively. Pelli-Robon chart tet and functional acuity contrat teting (FACT-Optec6500) were performed approximately 50 day after urgery. tatitical analye were performed uing analyi χ2, analyi of variance (ANOVA), and multiple comparion Tukey tet. Reult After 90 day, all eye had potoperative BCVA ≥20/32. The AcryofIQ IOL howed tatitically ignificant le induction of pherical aberration (P < .001) when compared with the AMOenar and the AcryofNatural IOL. The AMOenar preented ignificantly le pherical aberration then the AcryofNatural (P < .05). The AcryofIQ alo had lower value of total and high-order aberration (HOA) (P < .05) when compared with the AMOenar and the AcryofNatural. The mean value of trefoil 9, coma, and HOA root mean quare (RM) decreaed between one and three month (P < .001, P < .001, P = .023, P < .001, repectively) in all group. Mean Pelli-Robon contrat enitivity value in photopic condition were imilar between the group. The AcryofIQ howed better reult in 3cpd patial frequency in meopic condition uing FACT-Optec 6500 (P = .008), although there were no tatitical difference in photopic and meopic with glare condition.
