Abstract :
Purpoe
To evaluate change in anterior egment morphology by anterior egment optical coherence tomography (OCT) and goniocopy before and after laer peripheral iridotomy (LPI).
Deign
Propective comparative obervational cae erie.
Method
Ten eye of 10 patient with narrow angle were enrolled in the tudy. Angle were aeed by goniocopy and anterior egment OCT pre- and pot-LPI. The angle opening ditance at 500 μm, angle rece area at 500 μm and 750 μm, and trabecular-iri pace area at 500 μm and 750 μm were compared pre- and pot-LPI.
Reult
The mean goniocopy grade increaed ignificantly from 0.56 to 2.6 (P < .001). All OCT parameter increaed ignificantly pot-LPI.
Concluion
Change in the anterior chamber angle morphology pot-LPI can be imaged and objectively quantified by anterior egment OCT.
