Conjunctival Pottranplantation Lymphoproliferative Diorder

Purpoe To decribe a patient with conjunctival pottranplantation lymphoproliferative diorder (PTLD). Deign Interventional cae report. Method A 8-year-old boy, three month tatu pot bone marrow tranplantation with bilateral enlarged gelatinou bulbar conjunctiva wa examined. Biopy of the bulbar conjunctiva wa performed. Reult Conjunctival biopy revealed a polymorphou infiltrate of lymphoid cell with large atypical immunoblatic lymphoma cell, plamacytoid lymphocyte, and plama cell. B-cell marker CD20 and CD79a were poitive. Plama cell exhibited retriction for kappa immunoglobulin light chain and were poitive for CD79a. Mot cell were poitive for Eptein-Barr viru (EBV) encoded ribonucleic acid. EBV-related polymorphic PTLD wa diagnoed and treated with dicontinuation of cycloporine, reduction in prednione doage and adminitration of EBV-pecific cytotoxic T lymphocyte. The conjunctival leion reolved during the next five week. Concluion Pottranplantation lymphoproliferative diorder rarely involve the ocular tructure with mot cae preenting a a maquerade yndrome. Thi cae illutrate that PTLD can involve the conjunctiva and further expand the clinical pectrum of ocular PTLD.
