Method The functional acuity contrat tet (FACT) wa ued binocularly in patient with IN and aged-matched control with bet acuity under normal lighting uing a progreion of high-quality ine wave grating ize change with increaing patial frequencie. Reult Nine IN patient aged 5 to 11 year and 25 control were teted. The IN patient’ bet binocular acuity ranged from 20/125 to 20/30, and that of the control wa 20/25 or better. When compared with age-matched control, IN patient diplayed deficiencie in contrat enitivity yndrome uing the FACT tet. Concluion The FACT or a imilar teting ytem may have potential a a commercially available outcome meaure in clinical trial in patient with IN.
