Abstract :
Purpoe
To determine whether bevacizumab may improve anatomic and viual outcome in patient with ocular ichemic yndrome (OI).
Deign
Interventional cae report.
Method
Two patient with OI preenting with unilateral ocular pain, iri neovacularization, and macular edema. Intravitreal injection of bevacizumab (1.25 mg). The main outcome meaure were potinjection bet-corrected viual acuity (BCVA), intraocular preure (IOP), angiographic finding, and optical coherence tomography (OCT) finding and complication.
Reult
One week after treatment, both patient demontrated regreion of the iri neovacularization and improvement of the macular edema, with no change in BCVA and IOP. One eye wa reinjected at four month. After three and even month, no ignificant or ytemic advere event were oberved, and no ign of new iri neovacularization were preent.
Concluion
Intravitreal bevacizumab may be ueful for the treatment of eye with iri neovacularization and macular edema econdary to OI.
