Method A 47-year-old healthy man ought treatment for a three-week hitory of a progreively enlarging red pot on the left iri. Preentation, local and ytemic evaluation, and treatment are decribed. Reult Iri biopy revealed the leion repreented metatai, and a ytemic evaluation later revealed the primary ource a eophageal adenocarcinoma. The patient began ytemic chemotherapy. Conluion Metatatic iri leion can have atypical preentation. Tiue biopy, tumor antigen, and a thorough ytemic evaluation are crucial in identification of primary tumor in cae of unknown metatatic origin.
