Abstract
Purpoe
To ae and decribe the ue of anterior egment optical coherence tomography (OCT) in the evaluation of the cornea before and after lamellar corneal tranplantation procedure.
Deign
Propective, noncomparative, obervational cae erie.
Method
even eye of even patient undergoing anterior and poterior lamellar corneal tranplantation procedure at the ingapore National Eye Centre were included in the tudy. High-reolution anterior egment OCT can of the cornea and anterior egment were performed both before and after lamellar tranplantation procedure on the cornea with the Viante anterior egment OCT ytem (Viante OCT; Carl Zei Meditec, Inc, Dublin, California, UA), and the imaging finding were correlated with the clinical picture. Meaurement of lamella thickne were performed with the oftware provided.
Reult
Anterior egment OCT image were able to provide valuable information on donor appoition, Decemet membrane detachment after deep anterior lamellar keratoplaty (DALK), poterior lamellar dilocation, primary graft failure, and anterior chamber crowding with conequent chamber angle encroachment and pupillary block after Decemet tripping automated endothelial keratoplaty (DAEK).
Concluion
Anterior egment OCT i a valuable imaging tool for aeing the feaibility of lamellar tranplantation urgery in the dieaed cornea and in the management of urgical complication after uch procedure.
