After incubation, interferon γ ecreted by T lymphocyte in repone to thee antigen i meaured. We ued the tet in 21 of 26 patient identified from our databae with erpiginou-like choroiditi. Rate of QuantiFERON poitivity were compared to a group of healthy hopital employee (n = 208), another group of healthy hopital worker after tuberculoi contact (n = 117), and a group of randomly teted patient with other uveiti form (n = 45). Reult Eleven of 21 erpiginou-like choroiditi patient (52%) were teted poitive. The rate of QuantiFERON poitivity in the healthy control group wa 8.7% and 0.9%, and 13% in the other uveiti ubet. Four of the QuantiFERON-poitive erpiginou-like choroiditi patient were treated with tandard anti-tuberculotatic therapy; three finihed the coure and improved. even patient are either table without therapy (n = 4) or on low-doe prednione (n = 3). Concluion QuantiFERON teting revealed a high number of poitive patient, which indicate a tuberculou etiology in thi uveiti ubet.
