Primary ovarian leiomyosarcoma as a new component in the nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome: A case report

The case of primary leiomyosarcoma of the ovary in a 20-year-old Italian woman with nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome (NBCC) is described. This report first shows the association of ovarian leiomyosarcoma with NBCC, expanding the complex nature of this syndrome. (Am J Obstet Gynecol 2003;188:1093-5.)
