Vaginoplasty with split skin grafts from the scalp: Optimization of the surgical treatment for vaginal agenesis

With this case study, we propose the use of the scalp as the donor site for vaginoplasty with split skin grafts. Patients with a congenital absence of a vagina should also benefit from the obvious advantages, which made the scalp the preferred donor site in burn patients. (Am J Obstet Gynecol 2003;188:1100-2.)
