Abstract :
This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor-in-Chief and Author. Please see http://www.elsevier.com/locate/withdrawalpolicy.
Reason: During a secondary analysis of the database from which this manuscript was derived, the authors discovered a data analysis programming error that, when corrected, reversed many of the findings and the primary conclusion of the manuscript. Thus, the conclusion of the manuscript changed from “… sexual function as measured by the PISQ declined in women after surgery for stress incontinence despite improvement in IIQ-7 scores at 3 to 6 months” to “… sexual function as measured by the PISQ improved in women after surgery for stress incontinence as did IIQ-7 scores at 3 to 6 months.” In addition to the reversal of the primary conclusion, correction of the error resulted in extensive changes to the results section and to Tables III and IV. Because of these extensive errors, the Editors and Authors agreed that a simple notice of correction would not be sufficient and that the article needed to be retracted.
