  • Abstract
A47-year-old man was referred to the hospital because of a seven-year history of chronic atrophic and scaring papules on the trunk, neck, extremities, genitalia, palms, and soles. The cutaneous lesions were pink dome-shaped papules, some of which presented with a peripheral telangiectatic rim, and gradually healed with a small porcelainwhite central atrophic scar. The lesions were resistant to various local and systemic treatments. The patient had recent history of laparotomy because of infarctive lesions and ulcers of the jejunum. He also had an ischemic cerebrovascular accident associated with residual left-sided hemiparesis. He was a 30-pack year smoker. His past medical history, drug history, and general physical examination were not remarkable. Multiple skin wedge biopsies were performed
