Abstract :
The research aims to identify the concept of quantitative measurement of desertification processes on agriculture production and income, through the development of mathematical models the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) with geographic information systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) that will lead to the quantitative assessment of desertification processes present and future, its impact on agriculture production and net revenue present and future. The present economic impact of desertification (2008): The cultivation of olive and date palm in Siwa oasis loss annually to 90.10 Million LE as a result of desertification degradation. The future economic impact of desertification (2028): The cultivation of olive and date palm in Siwa oasis loss annually to 305.45 Million LE as a result of desertification degradation. Solving the Environmental of Siwa problem: Put restrictions on the arbitrary digging of wells. Redeveloping the agricultural drains and irrigation. Pumping part of the excess water outside the Oasis to the Tabaghbagh Depression. The organizational situation should be resolved as quickly as possible.
