Abstract :
The development of producer cooperations in agriculture could be an important condition in the global competition. The aim of the study is to highlight the factors influencing the formation of producer cooperations, with the example of Hungarian farmers in the County Vas. Questionnaire survey was carried out with 303 participant farmers, the data was analysed with cross table and correlation analysis. Results show that there is a significant correlation between farm size, farmers’ qualification and the legal form of farming, the number of employees, storage capacity and willingness for integration.
