Analysis of Mixed Correlated Ordinal and Continuous Responses with and Without Missing Data in R: Latent Variable Approach

This paper describes the joint models for univariate and multivariate mixed correlated ordinal and continuous responses with and without missing data in R. A full likelihood based approach is used to obtain maximum likelihood estimates of parameters of each model. We describe the implementation of these models in the packages MASS, Mvtnorm, nlme and Stats and illustrate the usage of the packages on several real data examples
