Abstract :
Organic manures and biofertilizers application in a sustainable agriculture system, addition to environment conservation, improve quality increasing and sustainability of yield specially in medicinal plants production. Anise (Pimpinella anisum) is a medicinal plant essential oil bearing and seed is the most important organ of essential oil including. The main aim of this study was determine the effects of biofertilizers on seed yield, essential oil content in seed and essential oil yield. The experiment was carried out at hamand research station in damavand in 2009. The factors were vermicompost (0 , 5 , 10 ton/ha) and phosphate biofertilizer (non-inoculated, inoculated seed and inoculated seed + spraying in stemming stage). The experiment design was factorial experiment in the base of randomized complete blocks design with nine treatments and three replications. Mean comparison was carried out using duncan multiple range test (at 5% level). Results showed that the highest seed yield, essential oil content in seed and essential oil yield were obtained after applying 10 ton/ha vermicompost. Phosphatic biofertilizer also showed significant effects on mentioned characters. The maximum seed yield, essential oil content in seed and essential oil yield were obtained using the phosphatic biofertilizer twice.
