Abstract
Equations of states are powerful tools for predicting the thermodynamic properties such as density and viscosity of their solutions. The advantages of these models are that the equations can correctly predict the solution properties and in most cases will prevent them from mixing. In this paper application of the Peng–Robinson–Stryjek–Vera (PRSV) equation of state (EOS) to predict the density and viscosity binary mixtures consist of 2-propanol, 2-butanol, 2-pentanol, 2-hexanol, and 2-heptanol with Cyclohexanon is shown. Agreements between experimental data and theoretically values are satisfactory.
