Abstract :
Dokuhe area is located in the 30 km SW of Birjand. The study zone is located in East of Iran. Sub-Surface Hourizen rocks in the study area in mineralogy and geochemical features are classified in microquartz monzodiorite, tracy andesite, andesite and dacite. The main minerals of them include plagioclase, hornblende and biotite. Pyroxene, quartz and opaque minerals are observed in the field also. Heavy rare-earth elements to light rare-earth elements generally show rich disruption a lot. They are Negative anomalies of Nb and enrichment of LILE. They have depleted concentration of elements Ti, Ta, Nb, Y which indicates the presence of garnet, Titany minerals and possibly amphibole in the origin of them. These rocks are with strong enrichment of Sr and K and not negative anomaly of Eu. That is related to the lack of plagioclase in the source of rocks. Rocks studied in terms of LREE and LILE elements shows many enriched. It has high potassium, Nb is less than 70 ppm. Potassium such as N and P is a needed element for plants. The light metabolism is reduced by potassium deficiency, Breathing rate increases and carbohydrates reduced eventually. So potassium has very large role in plant nutrition and it will increase the efficiency of nitrogen fertilizers.
