Abstract :
Wood farming always is one of the important Categories In rural’s economy in north of Iran, because villagers in this area by using of wood farming taking multilateral advantage of lands, however in many cases wood farming is implemented traditionally, sometimes itʹs done according to Trail &Error among Farmers. In this study, trends of past decades activities evaluated, this caused to enable the analysis the development process of Poplar farming with respect to complication underlying, therefore Guilanʹs map studied according to the aim of research , Political map of the regions such as Roudsar , Amlash , Siakal , langroud , Lahijan and Astaneh Ashrafiyeh selected and Study Zone, So satellite Figures of Land Sat TM and IRS related to 2000 and 2010 selected and by using of NIR and R bands , NDVI Index applied on figure. In next step, first forested area separated from the figure and then with respect to Poplar reflection in supervised spectrum resolution poplar farming boundary during 2000 and 2010 determined, then these figures transferred to GIS software. They re- categorized again , Poplar farming area separated from other area and get codes in the form 0 and 1value . Poplar farming area got 0 value and others 0 values in correlation the distance of poplar farming with road used SPSS test. The result showed that ,although there was increasing of poplar farming in east of Guilanʹs province during last decade , but with regarding to Socio-economic situation , Road maps and Rural dispersion , increasing wood production is impossible . In other words wood farming which is going on in rural area is decreasing.
