Abstract :
Guilan province located in northern part of the Alborz Mountains along with Mazandaran and Golestan provinces which are the provenance of north part of country and due to favorable climatic conditions was one of the important poles for poplar cultivation and got fourth place in country due to cultivation level. Therefore research to assess on the effects of the economic al consequences of poplar cultivation and effectiveness of economical development of poplar farmers in order to stable harvesting seems necessary. Thus, this study contacted with statistical population including 16 rural of Astanah which in design process framework status quo used descriptive method and for by used aanalytical method to analyze data which obtained from the study area and used statistical software such as SPSS and EXCEL. Out of 7179/7 hectares of orchard and arable in the study area, 113/1 hectares devoted to poplar cultivation. Result showed that Poplar cultivation area in comparison with the Rice, Walnut, Corn silage and Corn, Bean Pouch, Eggplant, Beans and tomatoes stand in the fifth place. It was ranked first in terms of gross income and and from per capita income point of view for each product after pouch beans, rice, peanuts and stand in fourth place respectively.It seems that the new generation have less interest to agriculture and and also due to higher profitability than to other crops in priority of the study area could be most profitable, in the form of gross income and in case government support can be introduce as an appropriate model in the short and medium term.
