Abstract
ABSTRACT: A split plot design based on randomized complete blocks with three replications was carried to study the correlation among some traits of maize crop under symbiosis with mycorrhizae fungi. Main plot included three stress levels as FC 100% (without water deficiency stress), FC=66% (medium stress) and FC= 33% (severe stress). Sub plot included two strains of mycorrhizae in three levels as M1: Glomus mosseae, M2: G. intraradices and M0; control. Under control and symbiosis condition, high positive correlation was observed for seed yield and harvest index, whereas a negative correlation was recorded between biologic yield and harvest index under symbiosis. Results indicated high correlation among root colonization percentage, CGR, LAI, seed yield and water use efficiency.
