Abstract :
n this paper, with the aid of symbolic computation, an algebraic algorithm is proposed to construct soliton-like solutions to (2+1)-dimensional differential- difference equations. The famous (2+1)-dimensional Toda equation is explicitly solved and some new classes of soliton-like solutions are obtained.
