Drought Stress: A Review

Plant growth and productivity is adversely affected by nature wrath in the form of various biotic and A biotic stress factors. Drought stress is especially important in countries where crop agriculture is essentially rain-fed and is a dangerous problem for humanity and for nature that global warming causes that is a major a biotic constraint limiting crop production world wide. Drought also is one of the most important environment stresses that influences metabolism and growth of plant. In this review we have emphasized drought stress and the reason for this stress being in jurious for plants.
