Abstract :
Low yield dry land farming especially in years with low rainfall caused reduction of farmer incomes due to expansion of poverty and its related problems such as immigration and young work force getting out that is a danger which threat country agriculture in future. Planting annual forage of the legumes in cereal farming (lay-farming) while increasing soil fertility, provides this opportunity to produce needed and enough food for livestock without leaving the ground fallow, because the soil needed to strengthen livestock is needed to care and human need is led. This study was performed by complex split plots in Gonbadkavoos region. For analyzing data and comparing yield of planted species factorial experimental was used. Results of ANOVA of data showed that mix-culture of wheat and annual medic was effective in both dry land farming and irrigated different levels of seed rate also showed significant effects (p < 0.01). Based on ANOVA results mix-culture cultivation significant affected both dry land farming and irrigated. Result of comparison of economic value of mix-culture of wheat and annual alfalfa showed that maximum yield in mix-culture of irrigated have been on level 1 of wheat (100 kg/ha) and alfalfa seed rate at level 3 (20 kg/ha).
