Identifying of sport cultural challenges in Iran Case study: Mazandaran province

In todayʹs world, sport is a phenomenon that is linked with culture. The purpose of this study is to Identifying of cultural challenges of sport in Mazandaran province. The research method was mixed. Sequential exploratory mixed method of the first method is qualitative and quantitative methods. The study was included all the Mazandarani managers, coaches, experts, judges and athletes at the national level. The results show that results revealed that respondents consider reduce of spirituality between the athletes to be the most important consideration followed by ethical problems and addiction of the athletes, using of inappropriate slogans and promoting of obscenity in sport, and promoting of bribery and collusion. it seems familiar to most athletes with religious principles, joint meetings between athletes and Clergymen, valuing the spirituality of the sports officials and athletes to encourage spiritual and religious aspects are more important can increase can be partly spiritual athletes.
