Selective single crystal complexation of L- or D-leucine by p-sulfonatocalix[6]arene

p-Sulfonatocalix[6]arene, organised in the ʹdouble coneʹ conformation, has multi-guest capability binding either L- or D-leucine in a single crystal in a bi-layer type arrangement from a racemic mixture of the amino acid.
