Abstract :
ABSTRACT: In order to study of direct and indirect effects of yield components on seed yield for find the most important effective part on faba bean yield, an experiment in split plot format based on randomized complete block design with three replications in Lahijan Township (north of Iran) during 2010 was conducted. The experiment was consist of 6 nitrogen fertilization levels as main plots (n1: control, n2: 30 kg/ha pure nitrogen, n3: 60 kg/ha pure nitrogen, n4: nitroxin inoculation, n5: 15 kg/ha pure nitrogen + nitroxin inoculation, n6: 30 kg/ha pure nitrogen + nitroxin inoculation) and 3 levels of foliar zinc spraying as sub plots (z1: control, z2: 0.5 g/L, z3: 1 g/L). Results were showed that seed yield had significant correlation with plant height (r = 0.974). Also, the results of path analysis showed that the maximum value of direct effect was related to plant height on seed yield.
