Effect of Different Levels of Nitrogen on Morphological Traits of Two Cultivars of Rapeseed in Isfahan Region

ABSTRACT: In order to study the Effect of different levels of nitrogen on orphological traits of two cultivars of rapeseed in Isfahan region, a split plot layout with completely randomized block design with 3 replications was used. Main plot were different level of nitrogen fertilizer (0,50,100 and 150 kg ha-1) from urea source, and sub plot were different cultivars (Hyola 401 and Hyola 60). This research was conducted in 2010-2011, at research farm of farming building of Islamic Azad University Khorasgan (Isfahan) Branch located in Khatun abad village (latitude 32o /40ʹ N and Longitude 51o /48ʹ E). Condition represented the effect of N fertilizer was significant on plant height, number of secondary branches and number of pods per plant. Effect of cultivar was significant on plant height, number of secondary branches, number of pods per plant and pod length. The maximum of all mentioned factors, related to 100 kg N ha-1 fertilizer treatment and Hyola 401. Interaction of nitrogen and cultivar was no significant on mentioned factors.
