Abstract :
ABSTRACT: Damask rose is the addition of rose ornamental flowers is a medicinal aspect. Extracted is essential oil and rose water from petals. Compounds are essential has high medicinal properties wiring and plumbing is germs bacteria. The experiment was conducted under design in randomized complete blocks design, with three replications during 2006 until 2009. In this study, essential oil was extracted by hydro- distillation method. Samples were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The main constituents in during study in accessions included citronellol, geraniol , geranial , n-tetradecanal , n-nonadecane , n-eicosane, n-pentacosane , n-hexadecanol , n-heneicosane , methyl tetradecanoate , n-tricosane . Strong positive correlation coefficients (p?0/01) were found between citronellol- n-eicosane (r=0/845), citronellol- n-heneicosane (r=0/879), n-nonadecane- geraniol (r= 0/883), n-heneicosane- geraniol (r=0/842), n-heneicosane- geranial (r=0/850), n-eicosane- geranial (r=0/885), n-nonadecane- geranial (r=0/930).
