Abstract :
ABSTRACT: Agriculture mechanization that provide the use of modern technologies in agriculture make better living and working conditions in rural areas and increases working capacity and yield. Agricultural production requires significant input of fossil fuels and other energy sources leading to negative external effects like emissions of CO2. In this study coefficients and indexes related to plowing during tillage in tree models traditional tractors i.e. Massey Ferguson 285 (MF285), Universal 650 (U560) and John Deer 3140 (JD3140) in Semnan province (Shahroud) determined. Results showed that mechanization grade, mechanization and executive power in tillage were 0.98, 0.99 and 0.78m respectively. In this region mechanization coefficient was relatively satisfactory, but I was lower than country mean. Mechanization level in compared with other countries was median and less than median. The average power of tractor mainly used in agriculture is 75 hp. Field efficiency in MF285, U560 and JD3140 was 0.71, 0.66 and 0.81, respectively. Workdays for tillage were 40 days. one hectare cultivation(from tillage to harvesting) took 9 hours. In JD3140, fuel and energy consumption is higher (due to higher power). However, 3-Bottom plow for the plowing, the production capacity is not optimal. U650 tractor fuel consumption and more energy because it is worn, this type of tractor, must be replaced. Tractors replacement will be accelerated by providing long-term loans to farmers. Improved matching implements which utilize the tractor power efficiently must be developed so that the efficiency of operation increases. High speed of operation must also be introduced in order to improve the timeliness.
