Efficient synthesis of 1,3-dihydro-2H-indole-2-one derivatives

A facile efficient method for synthesis of 1,3-dihydro-2H-indole-2-one derivatives using ‎ reaction ‎of‎ isatin in precence of NaH and methyl ketons under solvent free condition is ‎described. In these reactions, ‎synthesis of 1,3-dihydro-2H-indole-2-one is possible under solvent free condition ‎and without using any ‎catalyst.
