Abstract :
Barley cultivation is for grain production, which is used to feed humans and animals. In order to study the yield of barley advanced genotypes, this test was conducted in a randomized complete block design with three replications at two locations for two crop years 2010-2011 and 2011-2012. This test consisted of 16 barley advanced genotypes with 2 control varieties (Mahoor and khoram), that was implemented in two rainfed areas of moghan, one in dry land Research Station for Agricultural Research Center and natural resources of Ardabil province (moghan) located in moghan Jafarabad, and the second area in agricultural services of Anjilo. The results of simple variance analysis of data obtained from the yield evaluation during the different places and years showed that there was significant difference at 1% level in four environments between treatments studied. The coefficient of variation was less than 10 in each of the four environments which was due to great precision in the test. Comparison results showed that in the first year at both stations genotype 6, 8, and 18 were in class ‘A’ and were from the high yield. Meanwhile, in the second year, at both stations genotypes 9, 7, 15 and 18 were located in class ‘A’ and were selected as high yielding genotypes.
