Breakpoint Region in IV-Characteristics of Intrinsic Josephson Junctions in HTSC

We review our results on the investigation of the breakpoint phenomena in the stacks with finite number of in- trinsic Josephson junctions in high temperature superconductors. New ideas concerning the breakpoint region struc- ture are discussed as well.
