On the Buchsbaum Property of Associated Graded Rings

LetIbe an -primary ideal in a Buchsbaum local ring (A, ). In this paper, we investigate the Buchsbaum property of the associated graded ring ofIwhen the equalityI2 = Iholds for some minimal reduction ofI. However, the Buchsbaum property does not always follow even ifI2 = I. So we give certain conditions for associated graded rings to be Buchsbaum in this situation.
