On the 2-decomposition numbers of Steinbergʹs triality groups , q odd

We compute the 2-modular decomposition numbers of Steinbergʹs triality groups , where q is a power of an odd prime, except for two decomposition numbers in the Steinberg character and classify all absolutely irreducible representations of in non-defining characteristic up to a certain degree.
