Abstract :
Let R be a multi-parameter solution of the quantum Yang-Baxter equation of type An−1. In this note we prove that S. Majid′s algebra of braided matrices B(R) is a Noetherian Auslander-regular domain of dimension n2 satisfying the Cohen-Macaulay property. For each n there is a [formula]-dimensional family of such algebras.
