Finite Groups with Small Sums of Degrees of Some Non-linear Irreducible Characters Original Research Article

We obtain lower estimates for sums of degrees of some non-linear irreducible characters of non-p-nilpotent groups, and investigate the structure of groups for which these estimates are attained.
