Abstract :
A bifunctional initiator was synthesized and used for a sequence of a nickel initiated polymerization of (gamma)-benzyl-L-glutamateN-carboxy anhydride and atom transfer radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate yielding a rod–coil block copolymer.
