Higher Level Representations of the Quantum Affine AlgebraUq(imagel(2)) Original Research Article

We introduce the notion of quantum Z-algebras for the quantum affine algebra. After developing the quantum Z-algebra we use it to study the quantum affine algebraUq(sl(2)) and construct bases for each of its higher level modules.
