Abstract :
Using two diastereomeric compounds containing benzophenone and olefin units, significant chiral discrimination has been found in all the photophysical and photochemical processes involved in intramolecular hydrogen abstraction: overall quenching of benzophenone triplets, actual hydrogen abstraction step and (pi)-quenching.
