Design of Sequential Experiments for Contingent Valuation Studies

Sequential experimentation is recommended as an alternative to the usual one- or two-shot approach to contingent valuation surveys. The sequential C-optimal approach is introduced and developed, and it is compared to the established parametric and non-parametric sequential procedures. It is shown to be an improvement in terms of statistical precision in a finite sample, over the standard sequential procedures
