  • Abstract
    A family of tetrahydroxy diesters has been synthesised and observed to gel a range of fluorinated solvents and their mixtures; the phase behaviour and gel microstructure are reported for a homologous family of these diesters in blends of 1H,1H-heptafluorobutanol (HFB) and 2H,3Hperfluoropentane (HPFP).
