The Abstracts of the College of Clinical Neuropsychologists 10th Annual Conference Mild Cognitive Impairment Across the Life Span 25–27 November 2004 Swiss Grand Hotel, Bondi Beach, Sydney, NSW

Battling the odds of our membership being conferenced out by the big INS event in Brisbane earlier in the year, along with several other neuropsychology related events, we decided to do something a little different. We held a special symposium day at the beginning to draw a crowd and bring in a little extra money to help cover the costs of running the conference due to the threat of small numbers. What a great success this turned out to be. The conference kicked off with a series of excellent workshops followed by an open day special symposium on Mild Cognitive Impairment sponsored by Pfizer. Our guest keynote speaker was Professor Karen Ritchie from INSERM, France with a line up of other Australian internationally renowned experts in the field, the result being a highly stimulating event. This provided a great lead in to our scientific meeting and the abstracts that follow summarise the range and quality of topics that were presented. As chairperson of the conference I wish to thank the committee and all who attended the meeting for making it such a success
