Abstract :
In this paper, the mathematical model of a nonlinear system of partial differential equations which describes one dimensional dynamic flows of electrically conducting fluids in magnetic field is considered. The homotopy perturbation method (HPM) is used for solving this system. HPM is an analytical procedure for finding the solution of problems which is based on the constructing a homotopy with an embedding parameter $p$ that is considered as a small parameter. Numerical examples show the validity and accuracy of the proposed numerical method and yielding good agreement and accurate results.
