A Note on Energy-Balance Relations in Surface Water Wave Problems Involving Floating Elastic Plates

The energy-balance relations or the energy identities are derived, by utilizing the Greenʹs identity, for a class of surface water wave problems involving floating elastic plates on the surface of water of finite depth. Known results are reproduced.
