Abstract :
Considering the importance of Muallaqat in Arabic literature, as well as its importance in the various sciences of language , literature, grammar and also containing many of the Jahelliah words a great number of commentators paid attention to them. In the present study, it is intended to study the critical method of commentators in their explanations of the Muallaqat, descriptive - analytical method being employed.
The results of the study reveals that commentators paid attention to criticism although it isn’t much. And their critical views are focused on technical levels (Dictionary, phonetics, syntax, rhetoric) and semantic level.

انّ للمعلَّقات مكانهً مرموقهً في الادب العربي، فضلاً عن اهميتها في العلوم المختلفه التفسيريه، واللغويه، والنحويه واحتوايها علي كثير من الالفاظ الجاهليه وغريبها، ولهذا فقد اهتمّ بها كثير من الشرّاح، وقد ابدوا آرا هم النقديه ضمن شرحهم هذه القصايد النفيسه.ومن هذا المنطلق يحاول هذا البحث استخلاص المنهج النقدي الذي تميّز به الشرّاح في شرح المعلَّقات مستخدماً المنهج التوصيفي ـ التحليلي. وانسياقاً من هذا تقوم الدراسه علي خطه تنهض علي محورين بارزين هما: المقام والمقال.
وقد اتّضح من البحث ان الشرّاح اهتمّوا بالنقد في شروحهم وان لم يكونوا مكثرين منه، وظهرت آراوهم النقديه في المستويات المختلفه منها المستوي الفنيّ (المعجم، والصوت والايقاع، والنحو والبلاغه)، والمستوي الدلاليّ.
